I was once told that “Life is a Gift.” That phrase has a profound effect on me as it seems that gifts are most enjoyed when shared with others. We at Black Dog are thankful for our gifts, and hope to share them with the less fortunate.
One of our favorite charities is The Raleigh Rescue Mission, which provides food, shelter, daycare, medical care, and education for men, women, and children in need. Their site is www.Raleigh-Rescue.org.
Another one of our favorites is The Haven, which rescues and supports unwanted pets. The Haven supports in excess of 900 animals, which are fed, housed, trained, spayed/neutered, and hopefully adopted to loving families. The Haven is maintained by donations from sponsors.
